Roman Catholic Church Book of Hours.
Paris: Printed by Philippe Pigouchet for Simon Vostre

The medieval Book of Hours grew out of the Church's cycle of prayer that divided the day into eight segments, or "hours." During the late Middle Ages, such books became especially popular among the laity.
