Biographical Note
William Kent Rose (1924-1968) was a professor of English at Vassar College from 1953 until his death in 1968. He did his undergraduate work at Stanford University and received his Ph.D. from Cornell University. He best known for his work on the poet Wyndham K. Lewis, but also wrote about Ezra Pound, T.S. Eliot, James Joyce and other writers and poets.
