Biographical Note
Margaret Miller (VC 1934) roomed with Elizabeth Bishop while a student at Vassar. An art historian and painter, Miller lost her arm in an automobile accident in France in 1937 while vacationing with Bishop and Louise Crane. Later, Miller served as a staff member at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
